
Job Description
• Receive incoming medical supplies, verify quantity and quality against delivery notes.
• Record all stock movements in stock cards, bin cards, and electronic systems (if applicable).
• Arrange items systematically following FEFO/ FIFO principles.
• Monitor storage conditions and ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive items.
• Assist in regular stock counts, inventory audits, and expiry checks.
• Prepare, pack, and issue supplies based on approved requisitions.
• Support documentation such as GRN, issue vouchers, stock transfer forms, and damage/expiry reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and security of the medical store.
• Report stock variances, damages, or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
• Buy urgent medicines and deliver urgent online orders.
• Access the store and handle medical supplies under supervision.
• Prepare issue notes and update stock records.
• Report discrepancies and propose corrective actions to the supervisor.
• Accurate and timely stock recording with zero clerical errors.
• Proper adherence to FEFO/FIFO and WHO storage guidelines.
• 100% compliance with safety, hygiene, and controlled-drug regulations.
• Timely issuing and replenishment of medical supplies.
• Zero avoidable stockouts due to negligence.
• Work is performed in a medical warehouse or store environment.
• Requires lifting, carrying, and organizing stock items.
• May involve working in temperature-controlled areas (cold chain).
• Requires occasional overtime during emergency distributions.
Requirement
• Minimum: High school graduate (10th grade).
• Preferred: Diploma in Pharmacy, Supply Chain, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing or storekeeping (medical store preferred).
• Basic knowledge of medicines and medical supplies.
• Understanding of inventory management (FEFO/FIFO).
• Good record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Computer literacy (Excel, stock management system).
• Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
